What's the tire rotation pattern for a RWD vehicle with a full-sized spare?

Depends on the type of tires.

If they aren't directional, you can just rotate them all clockwise I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Counter clockwise when moving forward and clockwise in reverse.

I don't think that works with radials...

aren't they directional?

Straight forward from the drive axle, steer tires cross to the back. Spare tire gets checked to make sure it has air in it and stays where it is.

Some are, but not all. Mostly performance tires are directional, but they are still the minority.

Spare tire has to be moved because spare tire is actually main tire, vehicle has been riding on spare (w/ mismatched wheel) for almost a year.

Spare goes in place of one of the fronts, the drive tire that would've went to that front location goes where the spare was.
